Kanpei / Ehime Queen Splash

Citrus with a unique, crispy texture and strong sweetness. A variety developed by Ehime Prefecture, kanpei get their name from their notable sweetness and flat shape (the "kan" and "pei," respectively). Their peel is so thin that they're prone to fruit cracking while growing, so they're cultivated under careful control. (Fruit cracking is a phenomenon in which fruit break.) Ehime Queen Splash are kanpei of the highest quality that easily meet all the criteria for appearance and sugar content.
